Most of you have no idea that I decided to head back to college and continue my education. While I already have a degree in accounting, I thought that branching out and learning more about business would help me for the future. I followed my daughter, who is now in North Carolina, and enrolled at Moorpark College in Simi Valley, CA. Now I’m many years removed from college, so not only was I a little nervous about what to expect, I was anxious to see if this is was the right thing to do at this point in my life. I enrolled for two online classes, Journalism and Psychology. The last time I was in college online classes was something not offered, so that would also be something new. So far I’m having a blast. I’m tapping into parts of my brain that I’ve not used for many years. Running Suspense Magazine and Suspense Radio for the past six years has helped my out greatly for this challenge. I’ve been able to use my experiences within the media and publishing business to create study habits and a maturity I didn’t have the first time around. While my college experience is still in the infancy stage, I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead and excited to see how this next chapter of my life will help me going forward. This is probably the greatest suspense novel I’ve ever been exposed to, with the ending to be determined.
